Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully before placing orders!


Preferred method of payment is PayPal, VISA, Master Card, American Express, and E-Transfers parts will not ship until full payment is made.

Order Returns or Cancelations.

Parts may be returned for exchange or refund provided they are in resalable condition and still in original packaging. No refunds on any part that has been used or installed. Special Order items (i.e. Race Motors, Custom Machined Parts, Special ordered parts just for you...etc.) are generally not returnable. Shipping is not refundable and all refunds are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Call for a return authorization number before shipping anything back. We must authorize all returns. Merchandise returned without authorization will be refused or returned. Shipping charges for the returned merchandise are the responsibility of the customer. Returned merchandise is subject to inspection. All returned items and the packaging must be undamaged. Upon inspection, if the product has been used or damaged, we will return the merchandise.

Race Parts Disclaimer - Waiver of Any Warranty

All race parts and engines are sold "AS IS" and with all faults. There is NO WARRANTY EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Kart Works Canada Inc. will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from the use of these products. RACING IS A DANGEROUS ACTIVITY. The user shall determine the suitability and safety of the product for its intended use and the user assumes all responsibility and risk in connection there with.

Shipping Cost

Kart Works Canada uses Canada Post, and UPS for carriers.  If you think there is a shipping cost issue before you order call Kart Works and we will try and resolve the problem.  You may be charged extra for shipping or called, emailed if you get refunded some of the shipping costs.  Shipping cost is only an estimate, in almost every case the cost you are quoted will be the cost you pay.  For 2 day or over night shipping you must call or e-mail and confirm the details of your order.  If you fail to do so your package may be shipped by ground.  If you order late in the day, package might not ship until the next business day.  All shipments sent will require a signature unless no signature is requested in the shipping comments box.

Shipping Time

Most parts and stock engines are shipped within 48 hours. Racing engines have anywhere from a few days to several week lead times. Be advised Spring and Summer is our busy time for racing engines. We will notify you via e-mail of any unusual delay. Most orders are shipped via UPS ground. Orders over 150 lbs and some shipments between 70 and 150 lbs require shipping via common carrier to assure the most careful handling of your purchase. We will notify you of these situations, advise you of the freight, and receive your approval prior to shipping via common carrier

LOST / STOLEN - or DAMAGED package claims are the customers responsibility.  Once your order has left our shop it is up to the customer to  follow up with their package tracking number with the carrier.  Kart Works will provide your tracking number for the carrier you have chose to deliver your package when your order is shipped out in the comments of your order for your record.  In the case of a lost or damaged package Kart Works will work with the mail carrier and the customer providing any information need for the customer to properly file his or her claim with the mail carrier.

Claims with RUSH PARTS!  If you are in a rush and need your parts fast and can not wait until the problem is resolved with the shipping carrier please make a new order.  If your original order arrives let us know then ship it back and Kart Works will give you a full refund for the parts.

(Parcel Post) In case of damaged merchandise received by mail, retain the shipping container and damaged items and take to the nearest Post Office for inspection and filing of claim. All parcel post orders are insured. Filing of claim is your responsibility. If you wish replacement of the damaged items, please treat as a new order. Look the packaging over carefully. Damaged boxes generally mean damaged contents. On damaged items, before you sign the freight bill, have parcel carrier note a full description of breakage on both his and your copies; likewise for any shortages. If this is done, claims can be collected from the trucking company. This Is Your Responsibility. We Cannot Do Anything About It At This End. For items received from UPS, notify us immediately so a pick-up of the damaged goods can be arranged. Have UPS pick-up box, original packaging, etc. Replacement will be made after claim is filed with UPS.

Kart Works Canada Part Numbers:

Every item that we carry has a Kart Works Canada part number. Please use these numbers when ordering to prevent any mistakes. This is very important!

Prices or Descriptions:

All prices, pictures, and descriptions in the Kart Works Canada Catalog and price list are subject to change without notice.

Order Changes and Additions:

Our staff works hard to process your order as quickly as possible, to assure quick delivery. Because of this, any additions, cancellations, or changes to an order once it has been processed will not be possible. Any additions or changes will be processed as a separate order. All order policies and terms will apply.


International Insurance & Delivery Guarantees
We are not responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees (brokerage, etc) for international shipments. We are not responsible for items held up, lost, or confiscated by foreign customs or other Gov't agencies.


Purchasers assumes all risk once shipments is delivered to the custom agency, broker, or postal service of the destination country.

We cannot files claims or initiate any investigations into non-delivery until 60 days has past.
